Tidewalker Dive Labs

New waters,new friends

Learn to dive in a Basic Open Water camp built around shoreline dives, campfire conversations, and the shared rhythm of a long Puget Sound weekend.

Basic Open Water, Camp Format

Learn the water with a small group beside it.

This camp is your introduction to the underwater world and to the skills that make diving confident, calm, and enjoyable. You will learn to understand the water itself: how conditions change, how to read your environment, and how to stay safe and self-sufficient in real Pacific Northwest conditions.

The weekend brings the Basic Open Water class into a social camp setting at Kayak Point, with focused pool sessions, accessible shore dives, group camping in large yurts, coffee and breakfast by the fire, and evening conversations about the underwater world. The skills learned here are meant to last a lifetime, while the atmosphere stays relaxed, memorable, and connected.
